Main features

Following up on our list is Front Arch. It’s quite a popular option for many of those who’re looking for a simple and effective way to sanitise their toothbrush from germs and other bacteria. It uses a well-known UV-C technology and takes only 3 quick minutes to do the job, leaving your toothbrush bristles all freshened up (it fits in the whole toothbrush but only sanitises the head). If you plan on using it once a day, it can last you up to two weeks with a full 2-hour charge. However, if you use its automatic 8-hour auto-sanitising feature, it’ll probably need recharging a bit sooner.

Design and Use

Being able only to sanitise one toothbrush at a time, the device’s bulkiness feels quite rough on the eye. Unlike our top choice, Front Arch will require you to do some spring cleaning and prepare more space on your bathroom’s countertop. But, if you don’t mind that, with the size comes a great design choice – two water drainage slots. It keeps the toothbrush dry inside the closed container, helping avoid all kinds of bacteria breeding inside the box. In addition, the one-button design gives some needed simplicity to the sanitiser. Press once to start the 3-minute cycle, and every 8 hours, it’ll re-start automatically. However, if you want to save the battery or just don’t need disinfection that often, press and hold the button for three seconds to turn off the device completely.

🪥 Value

Generally speaking, Front Arch is a great option. While it may not be the most ergonomic and space-saving option, it does have some bells and whistles. All combined, this device does a really good job ensuring good hygiene for the whole brush, head to toe, keeping everything dry and sterile. In the end, it’s up to you to decide what features are the most valuable for you. If you want an effective gadget with some sparkle, Front Arch is a wonderful choice. Yet, if you’re looking for something more compact, there’re more minimalist alternatives out there, like BrushSan, which took the first place on our list.
